Light winds around noon turning to moderate in the afternoon. S1 snowfall before noon, S2 when we departed at 3.30. We left the pass in the milk jug at 3.30. 26 degrees at 3.30 at 10,500'
Snowpack
ENE-E, 11,000 Buried SH layer was visible in all pits, but no longer reactive. Buried NSF layer, down 25cm, failed on CTM SP x 6. ECTX x 2 2-3cm melt freeze/temperature crust below 1 cm new snow. This crust wasn't bonding to the F hard layer below or 1 cm+ new snow. Below the crust was starting to facet.
