Weather
Strong sun and occasional strong gusts of wind. The wind was definitely still finding snow to transport.
Snowpack
Above treeline there seemed to be wind slabs on all aspects we touched or saw (North through East through South) with pockets of wind affected powder in places. The wind slabs that we traversed on low angle terrain were cracking a bit, but were not propagating. Many of the leeward loading zones appeared to be pretty bulbous, but we didn't see any evidence of natural slides. By early afternoon the snow below treeline was getting soft and wet, but not yet producing many rollerballs/pinwheels. There also appeared to be some small one or two day old point releases on southern aspects (mostly originating from bands of rocks).
