Pine Pass - Bijoux

We saw plenty of evidence of previous winds out of both the south (and east) with large cornices and small wind slabs on north facing features. Visibility was tough today, but you can see one of the wind slabs just below the arrow. We avoided the wind slab problem by sticking to wind sheltered features where the riding was phenomenal. We still felt a bit small when exposed to overhead avalanche terrain.
