Gusty winds consistently from the NW. Occasional gusts from due North. Periods of calm.
Snowpack
Surface snow composed of near-surface facets on all aspects traveled. The snowpack is noticeably deep and consolidated BTL, especially near the parking lot along the snowcat trail.
