Red Lady Bowl, observed no signs of instability while on the skin track, shaded aspects in glades were faceted to the ground, sun exposed aspects had a pencil hard sun crusts ranging from 1-4 cm. Surface temp of snow never reached above 21 degrees f. (out by 1 pm) did not see any rolling balls, air temp back at the TH was 32 Degrees. Bowl skied well, Upper turns were on chalky windboard which turned into a breakable crust, lower pitches were soft faceted skiing. Observed large amount of surface hoar up to 1 cm tall at 9,700-11000 ft. Also saw many wet snow point releases on a steep 40-50* SE facing ridge line to the north of summit (Oh-Be-Joyful drainage). Calm winds on ridgelines.
