Weather
Strong North West winds gusting 35 plus. Light flurries. Approximately 4-5 inches of new snow had falled in the past 24 hours.
Snowpack
One meter pit observation. Fresh snow had fallen on two distinct slab layers one about 8 inches below the surface (hand hardness three fingers) was a well formed slab about 1o inches thick another deeper in the pack at about 2 feet. Shovel shear test produce CT10 and Q2. Wind loading was obvious.
