SCT skies trending to FEW. Light to Moderate northerly winds. Airtemp of -1C at 1430 and -2C at 1600.

Snowpack

HST of 9 cm at 10,800 feet in an open meadow by Evans Gulch. Surface form is DFs in areas where the sun affected the snow; recent storm snow is showing some faceting in upper snowpack in shady areas. HS averaged 120 cm in a northeast facing meadow where we dug our snow profiles--NE meadow at 10,850 feet above the jct of CR 3 and CR 38. CTs produced repeatable sudden collapses on the sintering DH layer that still makes up the bottom 1/3 of the snowpack.
