Weather

Relatively warm, partly to mostly sunny, and very windy in exposed areas. Lots of blowing snow even in open areas BTL.

Snowpack

7 inches HN24. avg HS around 175cm. Highly variable ATL, with many west facing slopes scoured clear. Wind drifted areas (north through east) have areas with 3-4m of snow only 100 yards from bare ground. Stiff (1F to P hard) slabs sitting one 3 pronounced weak layers 1-2cm thick in the top meter of the snowpack. Most worrisome weak layer about 70cm deep, 1cm, thick consisting of 2mm facets. Bottom ~20cm of snowpack 3mm depth hoard showing some signs of bonding and rounding.
