Snowpack

It was frozen pretty good from last night, but on the road in at 9500-9700 feet there was a 10cm solid crust with totally unconsolidated and isothermal/wet snow underneath. Up higher at the hut, snow in the shade on N'erly aspects was fairly soft still but also wet. Coming out the on the road the bottom was dropping out. At 2pm the temp at the car was 60!
