Snowpack
Snow was too deep to make turns on most slopes. Anything steep enough to make turns was a concern for avalanches.
Avalanche
Very active cycle on Red Mtn Pass. Too many avalanches to count. Both natural and triggered. Multiple slides triggered from toe of slope or remotely. Heard of remote triggered slide on lower SE slopes of Red 3, but could not confirm. Most activity was leeward SE-SW near and above treeline, likely running on the 1/14 interface (possibly crust/facet combo). However, numerous below treeline and some running deeper.
