Weather. There was lots of it. Snowing most of day, mostly S1 but some bursts of S2, maybe even S5 for brief periods. Front moved through early afternoon/ 1 pm. S2 Graupel, Gusty NW winds 10-20. Snowfall intensity increased late afternoon, accompanied by an intense burst of winds @ 4 pm that reduced visibility to 25 m. Maybe.
Snowpack
Generally less supportive and consolidated than elsewhere in Yule Creek, though not abrupt hardness differences btwn slab and persistent weak layers. Structure typically soft recent snow over midpack slab over slightly softer basal FC/DH. Storm snow low density, sometimes felt faceted.
