Moderate W wind with moderate consistent blowing snow. Scattered clouds, temp around 20 degrees F.

Protected new snow fairly dense, most ATL terrain has fairly supportive wind slab with ski pen around 5 cm.

Avalanche

HS-N/u-R2-D2.5. Max crown looks about 5-6' based on comparison with people on the ridgeline, with shallower crown extending to lookers right at the top of the saddle. SE aspect ATL.
