Weather

Slowly warming and clearing with a few flurries lingering.

Snowpack

Storm snow did not add up to much in the canyon. Total settled snow from the last event was ~25 cm. This layer rested on a thin crust formed on the old snow surface in the warm days right before the storm. Below the crust was ~60 cm of faceted forms. The snow is still largely unsupportable, foot pen 50 cms, but rounding and bonding was evident in the faceted layers, and snowpack tests revealed little reactivity and no propagation in the weak layers.

Avalanche

Some sluffing in the new snow where the sun was hitting it. No other activity noted.
