cold, calm, overcast, light snow on and off during the day but only an inch or two of total accumulation

Snowpack

Deeper snowpack in this area than other areas of the Front Range. Avg Hs around 120cm near treeline and more like 150-180 cm above treeline. Snow depth increases quickly as you travel west from Grand Lake. The rain crust prevalent in Steamboat is not present here. Recent storm deposited around 25-30" in this area, now settled into a 4F hard 4F- slab. Non reactive to ski cuts.
