Snowpack

Classic early-season Persistent Slab structure.E-NE facing slopes. NSF or SH 2+ mm/ Slab (recent storm snow) 20-45cm thick, F hard at top but 4F+ to 1F thick at base./ WL 12-15 cm thick. F to 4F hard, depending on location, & composed of 2mm FC & 3-4 mm DH, chained, striated./ 2-10 cm thick K-hard ice layer at ground, with thickness depending on aspect.

One old crown visible skier's left side of HappyFace/ skier's right side of D trees. From 15cm snow on bed surface, suspect this slide ran naturally Sat 11/15.
