Up at Quartz Creek Raining/sleet at 6km Cabin elevation and above saw snow most of the day with clouds moving. When the skies cleared off and on the snow didn’t stop. Between 6” and 18” fresh snow. We rode the dense trees most of the along with alpine flats staying clear of any open slopes with cornices above.

Snowed at cabin elevation and just below all day. Earlier tracks we set were partially covered by end of day.

Looked like a recent snowmobile triggered avalanche as the crown had a track on both ends entering and exiting. We didn’t go up to investigate due to instability witnessed well below the run out. As seen in the crack my ski created.
