Core Lodge area

Quick report

Tried some north facing slopes near the Core Lodge. The alpine was very wind blown, but there was some shallow powder topped with surface hoar near tree line and in the trees. Felt very solid underfoot. We saw a large old slab, probably from a cornice collapse, along the ridge line to the south. Some melt freeze crust at lower elevations.
