Tryst Lake Witness to 2x Na wind slab events. Sz 1&2. SE Asp, 2150m. One ran full path though very shallow, it disturbed the surface rather than leaving a debris pile. The other very similar and within a few minutes of the first. Noticeable increase in wind distribution throughout the morning at ridge top. Temps were warm! -1°. 2050m, SE Asp. 28°. HS: 115cm HN: 15-20cm CTH23 SP ⬇️ 100cm on 3mm Facets We stopped testing after hearing some settlement, as the group came closer together. We made the decision to turn around given wind increase and reactive nature of the current snowpack. Lots of learning regarding clear group communication and expert halo heuristics.
