No observable avalanches or destabilised snowpack while climbing the trail/road through treeline from ~900 - 1240m. Performed one compression test on an east facing slope below the little hut on the way up to Apps. Snowpack was 85cm deep. A crust and facets approx. 25cm from the ground. New snow on top and on pack surface had consolidated into a sturdy base, no results on ct. Visibility and time prevented us from climbing higher and reaching the alpine. Rode small slopes and then followed our skin track out.
