Crowfoot Pass - Lower Moraines

25-40cm of new snow, surprisingly calm winds. Wet S1 snowfall throughout the day with noticeably heavy snow in the afternoon. Saw two small size 2 avalanches off of east facing slopes and near rocky terrain. Obscured and overcast skies limited avalanche observations, but heard numerous avalanches throughout the day. Experienced several settlements, whumphs, and cracks while getting a leg workout trail breaking.
