Zoa: South Couloirs

We skied Thar, from col went NW down to Falls Lake. From Thar, we observed 3 avalanches across the valley, in the narrow couloirs on the south aspect of Zoa. We also heard a 4th avalanche. Couloirs are narrow, so slides lacked volume, but ran 50-150m. Slides occurred between 12:00-2:00pm with the warming afternoon sun. Snow was stable on Thar, no issues there. Watch the south/west aspects during this warming trend!
