Travelled to Young peak from the Asulkan Hut. It was very windy at the peak and thought out the day with sun. No reactions skiing the face under the peak/7-steps. It was quite wind affected. A few exposed crevasses down to the mouse trap, the rock garden at the bottom is thin. Dug a quick pit under the last pitch to the summit, there was a fracture at 25cms after tap 18. Below that the snow was very consolidated.
