Two natural avalanches, size 2.0, were noted on SE aspects of Ursus Minor, running about 100m & triggered from loaded lee slopes at around 2300m Observed a moderate & clean handshear down 40cm at 2000m, failure plane was 8mm surface hoar. Soft slab above, from very soft (fist) to moderate (4 finger plus) in density. Lots of tracks in sheltered areas below treeline, no reactivity from skiers was observed.
