Hudson Bay Mountain West Prairie

Slab heavy day. Small in size but consistant in formation and predictability. Multiple shears in the collum test. Total depth:192cm Fist shear at 165cm with fracturing at 4 hits from the wrist and shearing after 2 more. Second shear at 150cm fracturing at 4 hits from the elbow and shearing after 2 more. Third shear at 65 cm at 3 hits from the shoulder and shearing with 2 more. Tree depth at 50cm. All shears occured on defined layers in the snowpack topped by a soft crust. Roughly 10⁰ temperature variation from the top of the snowpack to the bottom. See photo of notes attached.
