Bow Lake is not trustworthy yet, we took it wide without issue but don't go up the middle yet. Coverage in the approach canyon is acceptable after the storm. Lots of fresh snow in the area for Sunday - approx 30cm. The wind was also blowing. Tons of snow transport. We skied the toe of the glacier on both Saturday and Sunday and there was a significant difference in the amount of snow on Sunday. We probed between 140 and 165cm half way up the glacier. The ice cave is much larger this year and well worth the short trip up there from the hut. No stability issues experienced on the head-wall - but we did note a shooting crack in the canyon on our way in. Coverage is much better now but still plenty rocky all over. Didn't get much photos due to poor weather, sorry!
Weather
Strong gusts accompanying the fresh snowfall - a ton of wind transport occurred.
Snowpack
165cm of snow around 2700m on the Wapta.
