2 days riding out at Moncton cabin. Optimal conditions, calm, no big temp swing, sitting around - 10, cloudy Saturday, cloudy Sunday morning, clearing in the afternoon. No signs of instability on skinning or on ski cut x1 or on any of the slopes we rode. No signs of avalanches on our slopes, just one on a diferent steep slope with cornice above size 1-2 Rode slopes NE, E, SW, S, SE facing mellow from 25-30 degrees. Snow at cabin 150cm, snow on NE slope 170cm PIT- 28 (hard) fracture at 82 cm (faceted) . Did get some reaction at around 30cm in medium strikes but didn't fully fracture. Solid ice layer around 15-20cm from bottom.
