Exploratory mission in the Bonningtons. Found rocks hiding just below the melt/freeze layer from the Dec 6 monsoon rain event. The fresh show was just enough to hide them. Watch for the sharks!

35cm fresh snow on top of melt/freeze from rain event. Storm snow was fairly well bonded to this layer. Dec 1 surface hoar down about 65cm. CTE 5 down 15cm - planar in mid storm interface between storms. CTM 15 down 65cm - collapse on Dec SH layer. Could pull the upper column off in one chunk.
