At least 25cm of new snow fell yesterday, allowing access to Hospital Bowl and Ursus Trees. It was still a technical approach lol We observed Video Peak release a remote triggered avalanche. Certainly a larger slide around size 2.5 We experienced some minor whumpfing around 2000m. With video’s large release in mind we skied some well anchored slopes and stayed away from steeps. Probed an HS of 85cm at 1850m Egress through Hospital Gully was very shallow, wear your helmets!
