Rink Lake ski

Crusty approach till about 1800m. Once in the Rink lake valley, we observed few large slab avalanches in extreme alpine terrain. Most looked couple days old and were triggered by a cornice failure from above and were 1-2 m deep (wild guess from very far away). Pit at 1900m North aspect produced a break within the Dec 26th facets 30 cm down. Riding quality was quite nice with 10-20 cm of softs snow.
