Dug a pit on the shoulder of Cheops on N aspect at about 1850m Found the Jan 29th SH at 70cm. Compression tests produced resistant planar failures at ~20cm CTM13-16. We skied down the north aspect from TL, avoided unsupported features and didnt trigger any slides. Snow got heavier as we descended.
