Skied down Highway bowl. Widespread wind affect from ridgetop down to about 1600m made for some tricky skiing. Cornices are getting large and overhanging. Sheltered areas below 1600m in the trees had soft snow with large surface hoar crystals growing on the snow surface. Did not see any recent avalanche activity in the area.
