Attempted the Mistaya Traverse but decided to play safe and turned around before skiing down towards Chephren Lake. Fantastic views of Howse Peak, Mount Synge, Midway and Stairway Peaks.

30 cm of fresh snow on top of rain crust. Snow was firm and consolidated for at least 100cm under the crust. ECT 22. Completed a Rutschblock test with failure after second jump.
