Snow Conditions

Traveled around Fraser and Taiya Peaks. At tree line, surface snow is moist. In the Alpine, a melt-freeze crust is over moist snow. Above 1400m, the temperature crust sits over a dry snow pack. There has been significant cornice growth from the last storm and evidence of natural cornice failures. We are also suspicious of wind slabs in Alpine lees.
